April 10th, 2013-- Wells College held its 13th annual Activism Symposium on March 22, 2013. The theme of this year's Symposium was "Nearing Our Destination? Conflict Resolution and Problem-Solving in a Changing World", featuring presentations by Wells students and guest speakers centered around . The Symposium was created in order to give the Wells community a platform to initiate discussion and activism throughout the campus and beyond. A highlight of this year's Activism Symposium was keynote speaker Arun Gandhi, grandson of Mahatma Gandhi. Gandhi encouraged students to harness their anger into positive action, sharing stories from his childhood and lessons he learned from his grandfather.

April 10th, 2013-- This weekend is the annual Even/Odd Dodgeball Game and Dance Off, the male counterpart to the fall semester women's Basketball Game and Sing Off. The friendly rivalry between alternating class years is a way for sister classes to bond, and a long-standing Wells College tradition, drawing alums back to show their support. The Dance Off takes place in the dining hall at 8pm on Friday night, and the Dodgeball game starts at 8pm on Saturday in Schwartz Center. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to sport their year's colors!

April 14th, 2013-- Wells College will hold its annual spring music concert in Barler Auditorium on Thursday, April 25th. The concert will showcase material that students have been rehearsing over the spring 2013 semester. Led by Professor Laura Campbell, chamber orchestra students will perform selections by Mozart, a medley from Lés Miserables, and a student-composed piece at the concert. The concert starts at 7pm and is free. Everyone is welcome to attend.
